For A Better Life

Whether you have found your way here by accident or through your desire to have a better life it is our hope that you will remain here long enough to get a feeling for what we have to offer.  Hopefully you are quite happy with your life although many people are not for one reason or another.  Although your life may be progressing smoothly, perhaps it can get even better.  You may have reached a plateau in your life and are having difficulty moving on, or have had to put your hopes and dreams on hold for whatever reason.  Maybe you are experiencing a crisis in your life that is forcing change upon you, or perhaps you simply feel it is time to make changes in order to attain your goals.  These are a few of the many reasons that lead people to search for a better life coach.

While the concept of change may encompass many different things, we are concerned here with those that affect your mind, body and soul. Not everything that affects one’s mind, body and soul will be addressed here. For example, aspects of life such as politics and religion will not be of primary concern although they do have significant effects on people’s lives. An individual’s beliefs and attitudes about politics and religion are considered personal matters and individual choices. That is not to say that one should not give strong consideration to reevaluating their attitudes and beliefs when appropriate.  Spirituality, while often considered synonymous with religion, is a much broader concept that touches all aspects of our lives and is at the very heart of our being.

What we are most concerned with is enabling you to improve your life and the world you live in. Our focus here is directed toward four basic areas of life: home and family relationships, socio-economic circumstances, one’s body and body-image, and one’s sense personal identity and purpose in life.  The four areas are interrelated and there are one or more common threads that run through each of these areas.  Consequently, when there are difficulties in one area of life other areas are effected. Associated with these areas of live are basic human needs that profoundly influence our decisions and choices, needs which go well beyond food, clothing and shelter.

All of us need stability, safety and comfort in order to feel secure. There is need for stimulation and change so that we don’t get too bored or feel caught in a rut. Each of us need to feel special or significant in a way that makes us feel worthy of attention, and we all need to feel loved and to be capable of giving love in return. Additionally, we have a need for growth and development, to be able to expand our life. Also, there is need to feel that we can make a difference, however small, through giving beyond ourselves. At any given time we may tend to focus on any one or more of these needs which are the prime motivational factors of our behavior.

If you have found your way to this site in search of a way to better your life, we assume that there is something about your life that you would like to change and likely as not it may concern one or more of the four areas mentioned above. Perhaps there is something about your home and/or your interpersonal relationships with family and friends or on the job that you would like to change. Or perhaps it is your economic situation that you would like to improve. Maybe you would like to change something about the way you look or there are health issues that you would like to resolve. Are you satisfied with who you are and have you accomplished what you wanted to in life or is there some purpose unfulfilled? There are many things to consider here as changes, while improving one area of life may complicate or pose problems in other areas.

It is important for your changes to be positive and permanent.  We are not here to tell you how to live.  What we will do is enable you to better understand where you are at your present station in life and how you got there.  We will help you explore your needs and how they are motivating your behavior as well as your strengths for coping with stress.  You will be able to look at stumbling blocks to positive change, consider alternative solutions and understand the consequences of certain choices and decisions, both for yourself and for important people in your life.  In our work together you will be provided with the information you need along with encouragement, support and guidance to make those positive changes in your life and become the person you desire to be. If you ready for a better life we are here to assist you to create a new you?
